As a child of the 80s, I grew up on hair bands and glam rock. It is little surprise that when I became a Christian back in 1990, my youth minister got me hooked on Petra.
Looking back, it all seems kind of cheesy. OK, OK, it is really cheesy. But oh, back in the day, Petra really ministered to me.
So love 'em or hate 'em, here are the granddaddies (literally) of Christian rock at their mullet-and-synthesizer best.
