Rev. Ed Lantz preaching

Jonah 4:1-11 "Grace Can Make You Angry"

Prayer:

Father God, You are the strength of all the saints;
In Your mercy, receive our prayers and remind us that we are dependant on Your grace and love,
Teach us how to keep Your commandments, and how to imitate the example of Your Son Jesus
Who lives and reigns with You and Your Holy Spirit,
One God, forever and ever. Amen.

A Prayer for the Sixth Sunday After Epiphany based on the traditional Anglican collect.

Food for thought:
“I believe that the desire for a different sort of life doesn’t appear out of thin air. The longing for something more, no matter who weak or crackling with heat, is evidence that God is already at work in your life."
Adele Ahlberg Calhoon, Spiritual Disciplines Handbook (Formatio/IVP Press, 2005. )
